In „Orcunadoras,“ we dive deeper into the lore of Nemoreus. After years of wandering as a storyteller our hero Orcun becomes tired of people and their simple minds. One evening as he walks through the forest he is ambushed by a pack of thieves who call themselves „Maggots“. He manages to fight a few of them off but ultimately gets captured. The leader of the bandits sees his potential and asks him to join them, which he eventually agrees to. After a few years of being a bandit, the group gets caught and everyone except him is executed. He is alone again and begins to live in the forest where he begins to work as a contract killer. But his loneliness and the guilt of the murders he commits drive him more and more towards insanity as his victims haunt him in his sleep. He carves a nick into his knife for every person he kills, or „frees“ as he calls it. He believes that the god „Orcunadoras“, god of decay, is his only true friend. And he begins to find comfort in the thought that one day he will meet him.
The Chapter concludes with „We Sleep in Hell,“ asong about Orcuns time as one of the „Maggot’s“. A time when he finally felt happiness and comradeship again after years of loneliness.
